Anacortes is home to breathtaking views of ocean, islands, mountains, forests & wildlife, as well as many cutting edge music artists. Experience some of the best of what we have to offer in the First Annual Catapult Fest Rock n’ Run 15K & 7K foot race, along with a 2 mile walk/Kid Run on Saturday, June 23.
Both courses begin at Seafarer’s Memorial Park and wind along the oceanfront. The 15K course takes runners through Washington Park and loops back to finish at Seafarer’s, while the 7K runners will enjoy a detour to Cap Sante Gazebo while running through the marina. Finishers will be welcomed by live performances by local music artists playing from the stage at Catapult Music Fest.
The 2-mile Walk/Kids’ Run begins at Seafarer’s Memorial Park and goes through Cap Sante Marina, out to the Gazebo, and back. The Kids’ Run is for runner 12 years of age and younger, and awards will be given out to the male and female winner of each age group (0-5, 6-8, 9-10, 11-12). T-shirts are not included in the Walk or Kids’ Race. Youth and adult sizes will be available for $10 at the race, and pre-orders are appreciated.
